Client Testimonial

We appreciate Econocom as a value-based, family-run group in which we can play an optimal role. We would like to thank the IMAP team, who supported us throughout this exciting phase with great commitment and a high level of industry and transaction expertise.

Christian Pusch, CEO of ICT AG

IMAP advised the shareholders of ICT on the majority takeover by Econocom

IMAP advised BWK GmbH Unternehmensbeteiligungsgesellschaft, the majority shareholder of ICT Holding GmbH (“ICT”), on the sale of their stake in the leading provider of audiovisual solutions to Econocom Deutschland Holding GmbH, the German subsidiary of listed Econocom Group. Christian Pusch and Erik Wolff will remain on the ICT management board, each holding a 15% stake in the company, and will continue to oversee its operations.

Headquartered in Kohlberg near Stuttgart, ICT AG has been operating on the German market for 35 years and employs around 200 people at its locations in Kohlberg, Berlin, Munich, Cologne and Frankfurt. ICT is one of the leading providers in the field of live communication and media technology. The company is renowned for its technical expertise, customised project implementation and long-standing customer relationships with medium-sized industrial companies.

“ICT’s solutions are an excellent fit with our holistic approach to digital transformation. This merger will strengthen our presence in Germany and consolidate Econocom’s market leadership in Europe. We will offer our customers the entire spectrum of innovative AV and digital signage solutions,’ says Christoph Bläser, General Manager of Econocom Germany/Poland.

Econocom Germany is part of the international Econocom Group, a European leader in digital transformation employing over 8,500 people in 16 countries. It is the only European provider to offer a complete range of services along the entire digital value chain, from financing and technology equipment to services. In 2024, the group achieved a turnover of €2.7 billion.

“Our German customers in the SME and industrial sectors benefit from this international positioning, particularly when competing with American and Asian companies. We appreciate Econocom as a value-based, family-run group in which we can play an optimal role. We would like to thank the IMAP team, who supported us throughout this exciting phase with great commitment and a high level of industry and transaction expertise,” says Christian Pusch, CEO of ICT AG.

The IMAP team, consisting of Peter Bertling, Philipp Noack, Mathias Bosse and Dorian Ellminger, advised the ICT shareholders exclusively throughout all phases of a structured M&A process until its successful completion.
