Vacom d.o.o., a Croatian electronic goods and home appliances retail chain, sold a minority stake to Primus, the venture capital arm of SQ Capital, a Croatian investment management company.

With 28 retail locations, Vacom holds a strong market position in smaller cities across Croatia. Through its ongoing investment, the company aims to further grow its business by expanding to 14 new retail locations over the next three years, enhancing its webshop offering, and improving the overall customer experience.

SQ Capital is a Croatian investment management company based in Zagreb with investment focus on companies in Southeast Europe across technology, retail and specialized manufacturing sectors. SQ Capital manages two funds – SQ Venture, through which it invests in startup companies, and Primus, through which it invests in small and medium-sized companies. SQ Capital also provides wealth management services to its investors.

Vacom d.o.o. was founded in 2006 with headquarters in Daruvar, Croatia. The company offers a broad range of electronic products and home appliances through its network of retail stores and a webshop. In addition, Vacom provides electronics servicing and repair, along with comprehensive IT infrastructure solutions and support in the B2B segment.
