As of 1 October 2026, Taurus Corporate Finance will fully continue under the name IMAP Netherlands, marking the completion of the integration of Taurus Corporate Finance into IMAP.

Over the past period, the Taurus Corporate Finance and IMAP teams have brought together their knowledge, experience and expertise. By moving forward under one name, we are taking the next step in this integration and continuing to build one strong organisation for the Dutch mid-market.

By bringing our strengths together, we combine strong local market knowledge and personal commitment with the international reach, sector expertise and global network of IMAP. This further strengthens our ability to support entrepreneurs, companies and investors in both domestic and international transactions.

One team, one name

For our clients and business partners, nothing changes in the way we work together. They will continue to work with the same trusted advisors and teams, with the same personal approach and commitment at the heart of our work. At the same time, being part of IMAP Netherlands provides access to an international network of M&A specialists and sector expertise.

Through the global IMAP network, we can connect our clients with relevant expertise, opportunities and partners across markets. This allows us to combine the strength of a locally rooted M&A team with the opportunities of an international network.

Moving forward as IMAP Netherlands

As of 1 October, we will communicate fully under the name IMAP Netherlands. The name Taurus Corporate Finance will no longer be used.

For us, this marks an important next step in the development of our organisation. We look forward to continuing to build long-term relationships and supporting our clients at the strategic moments that matter, as IMAP Netherlands.

Jurgis V. Oniunas

IMAP Chairman

At the start of the year, the outlook for Q1 was highly optimistic, with expectations of slowing inflation, lower interest rates, and improving growth projections. Unfortunately, we live in interesting times. Early in the year, speculation around the disruptive impact of AI on traditional SaaS business models triggered a significant revaluation in parts of the Software sector. More recently, escalation in the Middle East conflict has introduced fresh volatility – pushing oil prices higher, adding upward pressure on inflation, and creating supply-chain uncertainties. While it is too early to tell how these new shocks will eventually affect the global M&A market, we can be sure that our dealmakers around the world are on the ground every day – negotiating, re-evaluating, adjusting positions, and adapting to whatever the environment throws at them to deliver the best outcomes for their clients. They’ve done it for over 50 years, and that’s exactly what they’ll continue to do, no matter the conditions.
