Investment company NVM Capital acquires Büter Group

IMAP Netherlands is pleased to announce that NPM Capital has acquired Büter Group from the Büter family.

Founded in 1965 and headquartered in Emmen, Büter Group is a leading European provider of hydraulic solutions, with a strong position in cylinder and lifting technology. The company employs approximately 550 people across its facilities in the Netherlands and Germany and has built a substantial portfolio of patents and proprietary technologies over more than six decades.

The transaction marks a new phase of development for Büter Group, with NPM Capital supporting the company’s continued growth and innovation through its long-term investment approach.

NPM Capital, part of the family-owned SHV group, is an active investor in the Benelux and Germany, with a portfolio of more than 20 companies.

Completion of the transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals.

The IMAP Netherlands deal team, consisting of Bas de Jonge and Wout van der Pas, advised Büter Group on the transaction.
